Cheerly ("the App") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and how it is managed.

1. Information We Collect

The App collects the following information only when you create an account. If you choose to use the App locally without an account, the information below is stored only on your device and is never transmitted externally.

• Account information: The unique user identifier provided by "Sign in with Apple" or "Continue with Google," and the email address provided by each authentication service (if you choose to share it).
• Habit data: Habit titles, categories, frequency settings, and completion records (including timestamps).
• Character-related data: Selected character, costume, and affection level.
• App settings: Notification settings (on/off, reminder times), week start day, and login streak.
• Subscription information: Purchase status of the paid plan (Cheerly Premium). Payments are processed through the App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat; we never receive payment details such as credit card numbers.

The App does not collect or track advertising identifiers (IDFA), location data, or any other identifiers used for advertising purposes.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information collected for the following purposes:

• User authentication and account management
• Providing habit tracking and management features
• Operating the character affection system
• Syncing data across devices
• Sending reminder push notifications
• Improving the App and the quality of our service

3. Data Storage

User data is stored in local device storage and on Supabase (a cloud database). Data stored in the cloud is protected by appropriate access controls so that only the authenticated owner can access it.

4. Disclosure to Third Parties

The App does not provide your personal information to third parties except in the following cases:

• When you have given consent
• When required by law
• For data sharing with external services necessary to operate the App (Supabase for authentication and data storage, Apple and Google for authentication, RevenueCat for subscription management)

6. Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your personal data stored in the cloud by deleting your account from within the App. Uninstalling the App will delete the data stored on your device. For data deletion requests, please contact us using the details below.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

This Policy may be updated from time to time. When significant changes are made, we will notify you in the App or by another appropriate means.
